Hey, everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend! We spent much of it cooking up new stuff to start rolling out in these updates, and today's is a great one to start off the week:

BONUS STICKERS HAVE BEEN UNLOCKED!

All physical reward tiers will now include a set of three vinyl stickers! These will make any laptop, locker, coffee table, or streetlight that much cooler! Next up: POSTCARDS!

Now that we've had a week to calibrate the pace of things, we're trying to set these bonus milestones about a week apart... but we're happy to see them unlocked sooner! We've got more lined up, so go ahead, let's push the limit! We're ready for ya!

WEEK-2 BONUS PRINT REVEALED

As a reminder, we're also giving a new, bonus limited-edition linen cardstock print each week -- those of you who backed early will get these added to your pledge package automatically. When each week is up, those prints are no longer available! So latecomers will have to be satisfied with whichever few last-minute extras they get... so get in early!

Hey everyone!

While we LOVE all of our books and projects, some just really resonate with us like music -- PARIS 2119, ASTER OF PAN, MONOLITH, and now SMALL WORLD. It's like we can feel a score or soundtrack when we're reading them (or re-lettering them, or making Kickstarter assets, or a trailer video...) So we thought it'd be fun to share the Unofficial SMALL WORLD Spotify playlist that we've had queued up in the background throughout this process! 2 hours and 30 minutes of fat cyber-funk and acid jazz that one could easily imagine blaring throughout the lowlands of Small World... trust us, this'll make 2 hours of daywork roll right on by...

You can expect some original stuff along these lines in the BONUS Digital Soundtrack Download stretch goal that was unlocked and being produced right now! We're having a blast with it!

We've also released the second preview episode on Webtoons!

We're preparing several more episodes at this very moment, with plans to drop the next installment every 3 days or so! It's not the full book (obviously), but a fun preview of what's to come!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

Looking forward to a great weekend, although in all honesty, we'll probably be working on more cool stuff to reveal here in the coming days... fun stuff is cooking! For example, we're running some preview pages of SMALL WORLD on Webtoons! If you're not familiar with it, it's a cool app for reading comics with a vertical scrolling format, perfect for manga-like content like this. :D

Check out the first episode here! (Or better yet, download the mobile app for iOS here or for Android here and then click that episode link... it's a lot better on a mobile device!)

We have a number of episodes lined up, which we will release every week. We'll also share some different preview page sections on our landing page throughout the campaign, so if you don't feel like doing the Webtoons thing, you'll still get a good taste of the book (although to be honest this story is so fast-paced and multi-layered its almost impossible to convey the full experience in just a few preview scenes...)

We've had a great first 4 days, unlocking a ton of great stuff already! (And we're soooo close to unlocking the sticker set! Let's see if we can get there this weekend!) We have plenty more stretch goals lined up behind that to reveal, so there should be no lack of awesomeness for the next 21 days...

Spread the word and let everyone know how cool this book is so we can get more folks on board and add more free stuff to each pledge package! :D

A note about the limited prints

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update to address a question a few people have asked so far:

"How can I get one of the pre-registration or Day-1 prints? I didn't even hear about the campaign until yesterday!"

A very good question! Maybe you missed the reveal or announcements online or on social media -- the internet is HUGE and we all miss a million things every day. There is always a pro/con side to every marketing strategy, and exclusive giveaways based on a limited time-window is always tricky (especially when you're talking about a global audience in 24 different time zones)!

So to put your mind at ease, all of our prints will be available as Add-ons in Backerkit after the campaign. 

BUT, only those who pre-registered or joined early will get them for free. They will likely be $5 each as Add-ons. We want to price them reasonably, but want to keep something to motivate folks into acting early. :)

If you want to be sure not to miss out on future campaign pre-registration freebies, be sure to watch your email inbox, campaign updates, and our social media. You're now on our mailing list as a backer (unless you opt-out or unsubscribe), and we usually send out pre-registration notices about 5-7 days before each campaign launches.

Hopefully, that makes sense to everyone and seems fair! We don't want to devalue the exclusivity of acting early! Regardless of when or how you qualify for one (pre-registration, pledge, or purchase), just know that they will still be limited edition, produced only to satisfy the demand of this campaign.

Oh, and hey -- we're just a few hundred bucks away from unlocking the BONUS STICKER SET!

ZAYA Slipcases are sold out!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to let you know that the few remaining ZAYA Slipcase bundles are apparently sold out. 

I believe the way it works is if someone cancels their pledge/add-on, it will go back into the available rotation, but just be aware that they are all otherwise spoken for. If any of them become available after the campaign has ended (eg. a backer has to drop out for payment issues), then we'll open it back up in Backerkit.

There are still about 40 of the NAJA slipcase bundles left, but they're going quick, too! No pressure, just sayin'... :)
